What to Expect

Your Journey from Assessment to Recovery

Starting psychiatric care can feel overwhelming. We make it clear and structured from the very first step, so you know exactly what to expect.

Initial Contact & Screening

Your journey begins with a supportive conversation.

  • Reach us by phone or secure online form
  • Share your concerns and history with our team
  • Complete age-appropriate screening tools
  • Receive a recommendation for the right level of assessment

The Krasner Assessment Pathway

Every patient begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation by Dr. Krasner—the foundation of our care.

  • Core Evaluation: interviews, questionnaires (PROMs), records review, and diagnostic formulation
  • Expanded Evaluation: for complex cases or when schools require IEP/504 documentation, we add integrated psychological testing through our psychology team

Every assessment delivers:

  • A comprehensive written report
  • Baseline measures to track progress
  • A Living Treatment Plan (LTP) that becomes your roadmap forward

All assessments include measurement-based care baselines and comprehensive written reports exceeding professional standards.

Comprehensive Assessment Options

Every patient begins with a full psychiatric evaluation with Dr. Krasner. This is the foundation of our care and ensures we understand the whole picture before recommending treatment.

For more complex cases—or when schools require formal documentation for academic accommodations—we expand the evaluation to include integrated psychological testing. This adds depth, clarity, and objective data to support both clinical care and school planning.

Whether standard or expanded, every assessment includes:

  • A comprehensive written report with clear explanations
  • Validated baseline measures to track future progress
  • A Living Treatment Plan—the roadmap that anchors our integrated care model

Treatment Planning & Coordination

Based on your assessment, your personalized plan may include:

  • Interventional psychiatry: TMS (including accelerated protocols) or ketamine services
  • Precision psychopharmacology: evidence-based medication management
  • Psychotherapy: relational, emotion-focused therapy with Dr. Krasner or Faculty Practice clinicians
  • Care coordination: led by Iona McPeake, ensuring all providers—inside and outside our team—work together seamlessly

Ongoing Support & Measurement

Care doesn’t end with symptom relief—we measure, adjust, and support long-term recovery.

  • Regular progress tracking with validated tools
  • Adjustments guided by real data, not guesswork
  • Ongoing communication across providers
  • Alumni Initiative with support groups, resources, and priority access if future care is needed

What Makes Us Different

Unlike standard practices, we provide:

  • A full understanding before treatment begins
  • Advanced options when standard care isn’t enough
  • True team-based coordination across every intervention
  • Transparent, measurement-based tracking of your progress
“A clear path, a caring team, and a plan that grows with you.”
