Dr. Nikolai Gruzdev
Nikolai Gruzdev holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of the Human Brain in St. Petersburg, a prominent Russian Neuroscience research facility, which originated in Ivan Pavlov’s Institute of Experimental Medicine. There, he studied psychic conditions related to pregnancy and childbirth under the guidance of Professor Natalia Bechtereva. For many years, he balanced his research and hospital counseling work with managing his own private company.
After moving to the U.S. in 2014, Nikolai pivoted to exploring the intersection of human learning and technology. He was a founding member of MOXI, the Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation in Santa Barbara, California, where he oversaw exhibit collections, designed visitor experiences, and trained staff.
Later, his technology team successfully implemented a fully remote learning model in a California school district, supporting uninterrupted instruction during the COVID pandemic. He now splits his time as a Technology Integrator for New Canaan Public Schools, focusing on optimizing instructional technology to achieve better educational outcomes.
Nikolai’s distinctive blend of psychological expertise and understanding of technology provides him with a unique insight into TMS treatment.
